Bandvulc, has over time built an excellent reputation for its ‘Green’ credentials and this makes the Bandvulc proposition very attractive to its clients who feel this is an important factor for their business too. One such company is Asda PLC, part of the Walmart Group of Companies, who have now agreed to a new long-term agreement on the management of their tyre supply and administration.
The new agreement sees Bandvulc and Tyre Maintenance Ltd combine to deliver products, services and administration for Asda’s LGV and Dot.com fleet across the UK.
For Asda, Sean Clifton commented “The total offer from Bandvulc encompassed both van and commercial and this inclusive package combined with bringing new green credentials to the Dot.com operations, provided a firm foundation for the award.”
Sean Clifton went on to say, “Bandvulc provided us with a solution which saw cost savings and planned initiatives in both our operational sectors of LGV and Dot.com. This, alongside their environmental credentials and most importantly, the delivery of their commitments, lead us to agree this new, long-term arrangement”.
Paul Fields, Director of Operations at Tyre Maintenance added: “We are delighted to have extended and enhanced our agreement with Asda. Our initiatives are ongoing and we have planned objectives to meet within the agreement term, we will also continue to enhance our offering throughout. Our Group Network of agents have all be involved in this project and it is encouraging to see advantages being delivered to both Asda and the Network by the development of Asda’s business”.
