Director at TTS Truck Tyre Specialists takes on Charity cycling challenge

As a keen cyclist already Graham Simpson, Director at TTS Truck Tyre Specialists based in Weston-Super-Mare has set himself a challenge of riding a charity ride totalling 500 miles from Bristol to Bordeaux in France.

The charity is Props and is based in the vassal centre in Bristol. The charity believes that all young people in our community should have the opportunity to lead fulfilling and participative lives, both on a social and a professional level regardless of any cognitive or physical disabilities. By providing access to practical learning worthwhile experiences and skills development for these young people, we will achieve this goal.

The ride sets off on the 1st July 2015 leaving from Bristol, they will head for Portsmouth, crossing the Channel (Luckily by ferry and not bike) will take in St Malo, Nantes, La Rochelle amongst other towns and villages, they will try to stay out of the Vineyards, arriving in Bordeaux on Saturday.

The charity have held this event for the last 7 years, every penny of the ride goes to the charity which continue its work helping children with disabilities learning valuable life skills, many of the children participate in the ride too, the total participating in this fantastic event is 60 riders and 20 support crew, its fully self funding by the riders to ensure the sponsorship money is not used for expenses.
