Company presented solutions for the vehicle tire retreads that serve the solid waste collection chain in the United States
Vipal Rubber was one of the highlights of the WasteExpo 2017, which took place on May 8-11 in New Orleans, United States. The fair brought together more than 600 booths, in addition to holding a series of lectures to discuss solid waste management in the country. During the four day event, Vipal’s booth received managers from several companies interested in getting to know and acquiring the company’s new technologies, including VWHR and VZY2, tire treads that run on mixed surfaces.
“We presented the entire portfolio of Vipal, including the products aimed at increasing the life of the tires that are used in garbage trucks, which now last an average of 10,000 kilometers,” says Gabriel Fuma, Commercial Manager of Vipal in the United States.
The VZY2 is a Vipal tread recommended for radial tires and drive axles of high power vehicles that travel on mixed surfaces (road and off-road), offering excellent run-off of water, clay and sand. This tread has great performance, even wear and greater resistance to clumping and cuts. Its characteristic design also allows self-cleaning of the tread (mud, sand, stones).
The VWHR, is a tread for radial tires with great performance on axles and mixed surfaces. It has fewer rocks embedded in the tread and good resistance to sharp objects. The design is indicated for moderate traction and optional for trailer axles.
