Vipal Rubber participates in AGRA agribusiness fair, in Bulgaria

Action originates from partnership with Vipal’s exclusive distributor in the region, Basvulk.

Those who enjoy a leading position in the market and are committed to winning are not afraid to travel down new roads. That’s why Vipal Rubber is, for the first time, participating in the International Agricultural Exhibition AGRA, hosted in the city of Provdiv, Bulgaria, from 22 to 26 February. This action is due to the company’s partnership with its exclusive distributor in the repair line, in Bulgaria and Macedonia, Basvulk. Repair products for tires will be presented at the Exhibition, especially those that are aimed at the agricultural industry.

One of the highlights presented by Vipal Rubber in AGRA are the patches. Important for the repairing process, these patches are essential for making a tire with any type of damage be retreaded later with quality and without losing its original characteristics. Vipal’s line of Aramid Patches (RA) is extremely impact-resistant while simultaneously lighter and more flexible than traditional patches, which prevents creases from appearing in the repaired region. It’s produced using aramid fiber, a reinforced textile used in bullet-proof vests and seat belts, among other extremely resistant products. This material is five times more resistant than steel, which guarantees less interference on tire balance.

Repairs for tires will also be emphasized in the Basvulk stand during the event. The brand line of inner tube patches is available in different shapes and sizes. These patches have extra-fine thickness and are capable of expanding to match the inner tube’s elasticity, preventing any hard lumps from forming. They employ chemical (cold) vulcanization, a process that does not subject inner tubes to any heat, thus further extending its service life. Similarly, we have the ECO Patches product line. The technology used to manufacture these products is able to use more than 70% of raw materials originating from renewable sources (plants), replacing products made from non-renewable fossil fuels.

Hosted by International Fair Provdiv, with support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Bulgaria, AGRA is the greatest agribusiness platform in Southeast Europe, drawing companies, research institutes and farmers that visit the place to keep up with the most recent innovations in the field. In 2016, there were 441 exhibitors from 23 countries, drawing a public of 4,000 visitors throughout the 5-day event.
